MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER - MYLA FAITH THOMAS

One of the best parts of running MF Studio London is getting to watch new photographers come through the space and make it their own. The studio isn’t just somewhere to hire lights and backdrops — it’s a place to experiment, collaborate, and build a body of work in East London.

This time, I’m introducing Myla Faith Thoms. Her work immediately stood out for its intimacy, mood and confidence with portraiture. I’m really glad she’s joined the MF Studio London community of photographers, and I’m excited to see what she creates here, both in the studio and hopefully in the gallery too.

“I STUDIED FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY FOR MY MASTERS DEGREE AT LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION AND HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THOSE IN THE BURLESQUE, EROTIC AND KINK SCENES SINCE THEN.”

“I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY BECAUSE IT ALLOWS ME TO ACCESS NEW WORLDS AND IS A WAY FOR ME TO EXPRESS MYSELF AND COMMUNICATE MY OWN PERSPECTIVES.“
