CHEMSEX STORIES

For the recent immersive exhibition CHEMTRAIL: This is Killing Us in Soho, London, portrait artist Matt Ford created a series of seven short testimonials from people with past and present lived experiences involving chemsex as well and invites from medical professionals and recovery workers on the addition, mental health issues and often tragedy that sounds the ongoing and often unspoken culture of chemsex.

In the accompanying zine (under the same title) Matt collected the other artists involved’s work and excerpts from the testimonials in an attempt to archive the exhibition and be able to influence, inspire and inform even more people on the phenomenon.

Commissioned by Impulse London, the exhibition lay ch event brought together a group of people that are helping over come the stigma of addition and the shame of getting help.
