About Emily:
‘I’m a self-taught Hackney-based artist, focusing mainly on the naked female form. Stemming from a female-strong family, I was raised within a matriarchal dynamic. My closest friends are women, and I came out as gay thirteen years ago.”
About her Work.
“Working primarily in black pen and blues inks initially, I’ve recently started exploring colour, bringing a new vibrancy to my aesthetic.”
About the exhibition:
London based artist Emily Caton-Thick will be showing brand new paintings from her Birds series, for a two day pop-up exhibition.
Limited edition T-shirts by Emily will also be on sale for the duration of the show.
